Creating A Login Account

You need a login account on this website to register for a new season. If you don’t have a login account – in other words you’ve never logged in to this website – follow these simple steps to establish one.

Step 1

Go to the NSS homepage.

Step 2

Click on the Login link.

Step 3

Click the Register link.

NOTE: The word “register” has a couple of different meanings on this website. In the following dialog box, WordPress uses it to mean “register for an account the NSS website” – let’s call that “site registration”. In normal NSS lingo,”register” means “sign up to play softball” – let’s call that “seasonal registration”.

Step 4

Fill out this site registration form using the same email address you use to receive email from NSS. The email addresses must match or the seasonal registration process won’t recognize you, even though you are logged in.

Once you’ve filled in these two fields, you’ll get a confirmation screen. (Don’t worry, you’ll get a chance to pick a password once your account has been approved.)

Step 5

NOTE: Some players are finding these emails in their inbox; but some are finding them in their Spam folder!

• You’ll get an email (right away) telling you your request is pending

• You’ll get an email (usually within 24 hours) telling you your request has been approved

Step 6

• Click on the”set or reset your password” link in the email
• Add your first and last name to help match your login account to the player’s database.
• Select a password (you don’t have to use generated password, you can choose whatever you want.)
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit the “Update Profile” button

Step 7

• Scroll back up to the top of the page and click on the “Nebraska Senior Softball” link to go to the homepage

At the home page, you the “Login” link will be replaced by your username.
