Overview
In an effort to keep player’s personal data private, starting in 2023, you will need to login to register for a new season.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q> How do I create a login account?
If you don’t have an account, click here for step-by-step instructions.
Q> How do I know if I’m logged in?
The easiest way is the “Login” link will be replace by a “You are logged in as…” message.
You’ll also be able to see the “Players” menu item under the familiar “PLAY BALL!” menu. (Users who aren’t logged in can no longer visit the Players page.)
The only problem that would keep you from registering would be if your user account email doesn’t match the one you use for NSS emails. (See the next FAQ to see the email address you picked for your user account.)
Q> I have a login account; but, my login email might not match the email address that NSS uses. What do I do?
There are two options:
- Click here to see (and change) your login account email address (recommended)
- Ask an NSS board member to update your player information
Q> I think I have a user account; but, I don’t remember my username. What do I do?
Send an email to the privs administrator. Make sure to include your name .
Q> I don’t remember my password. What do I do?
Click the login link, then in the login dialog box, click the “lost your password?”
Q> If I’ve played before, does that mean I have an NSS account?
No. In the past, you could click the “Register Now” button and register without logging in. This will no longer work. Going forward, you will need to login to register.
Q> Are login accounts a new thing?
No. Board members and managers have used login accounts for many years. These accounts, along with their status as board members and managers, allow them access to website features to operate the league: update scores, find replacements, cancel games, etc.
I followed the instructions and I ‘think’ I did log-in successfully – but, I received no indication that I was successful! Can you check for me to see if I have an account please?

Only logged in users can create comments, so you are definitely logged in. The last line in step 7 in the instructions also tells you how to know you are logged in:
The second FAQ on this page also has some tips:
