The Nebraska Silver Bullets tore up the 55 AAA division at the Midwest Championships and returned home as the undefeated champs!
In pool play, the Bullets went 3-0 and racked up big wins against JR Logistics (22-4); Midwest Driving School, a Major division team, by a score of 19-14; and the KC Renegades by a lopsided 32-19 margin.
In bracket play, the winning ways continued with wins against JR Logistics (19-15); the KC Monarchs (19-9) and knocking off the KC Renegades for the title by a score of 17-14.
The Silver Bullets had 5 players named to the All-Tournament team. Four of them are players from Nebraska Senior Softball. They include:
Doug Lewis, Jerry McCaw, Pat Sweaney, Scott Emery, and long time friend Bobby Knowles from Colorado.
